This product is based on the prototype from 2001 onwards, when Moha 201 was replaced with a single-arm pantograph. The different shapes of the front skirts for even-numbered and odd-numbered cars are reproduced. The electric curtain-type front type display, a feature of the Chuo Line 201 series, is reproduced. The vermilion No. 1 body paint is beautifully reproduced. The JR markings on various parts of the lead car are reproduced. The train radio antenna and signal flare on the driver's cab roof are reproduced. Uses screw-mounted bogies. Equipped with an established power unit (no flywheel). The intermediate coupling is equipped with a close-coupled KATO coupler with jumper tube as standard. A dummy coupler is used at the front of the lead car. Head/tail lights and front type display light up. The model and car number are reproduced in silver.
