Product Introduction
Fine Molds 1/48 Imperial Japanese Navy Zero Fighter Type 52 (Made by Nakajima) Plastic Model FZ02. The Zero Fighter, Japan's iconic aircraft, was developed and produced by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, but Nakajima Aircraft also produced some, ultimately surpassing Mitsubishi in production numbers. While the Nakajima and Mitsubishi Zero Fighter Type 52s are the same aircraft, there are subtle differences. Externally, there are differences in the paintwork, such as the line separating the dark green from the underside of the fuselage and the width of the white border of the "Hinomaru" (Japanese rising sun) on the wing. There are also differences in the aircraft design, with the Nakajima Zero Fighter Type 52 featuring a longer heat-resistant panel attached to the fuselage where the single exhaust pipe is located than the Mitsubishi model. This kit meticulously recreates the differences between the Mitsubishi and Nakajima Zero Fighters. Another unique feature is the canopy window frame and glass, which are separate parts, making it easier to paint the clear parts (a standard one-piece canopy is also included). Furthermore, by dividing the fuselage into front and rear sections, just like the actual aircraft, we've eliminated the left-right fuselage split typically found in aircraft plastic models, eliminating the need for meticulous finishing work on the part join lines, resulting in a more accurate and easy-to-build plastic model. Completely new mold. *This product requires assembly and painting. *Separate adhesives, tools, paints, etc. are required for assembly and painting. *"Plastic Model" is a registered trademark of the Japan Plastic Model Industrial Cooperative. *This product does not include adhesives, paints, tools, batteries, etc.
