Even when attached to a laptop, it protrudes only 22mm, making it unobtrusive for carrying around. The 5GHz band (11ac/n/a) is resistant to radio interference, delivering speeds of up to 867Mbps, while the commonly used 2.4GHz band (11n/g/b) delivers speeds of up to 300Mbps.
