Of the three variants of the F-35 developed simultaneously, the Air Force Conventional Landing (CTOL) variant is now available in the 1/48 Masterpiece Series.

The F-35A has been adopted by the U.S. Air Force, Italian Air Force, and Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
The unique aircraft shape, providing superior stealth capabilities, is faithfully recreated.
The radar-absorbing material (RAM) coating on the entire aircraft is meticulously molded.
The aircraft's internal air intakes are accurately modeled with their large, curved Y-shape.
The engine nozzles feature a sharp shape and meticulous detail, and are constructed in five sections.
The aircraft's extensive armament is also modeled, with the internal weapons bay doors optionally displayed in open or closed positions.
The canopy comes with dedicated open and closed sections, which can be swapped out after assembly.
