Geta sandals are not available in left- or right-handed sizes, and are typically designed with the heel and little toe exposed. It has long been customary to wear a smaller size. Among all the geta sandals, the amber-sole geta sandals are less slippery on wet floors, but the sponge part above the brown rubber sole is weak against water, so if they get wet, wipe off the water and dry them well in a well-ventilated place to care for them.
