This USB 3.0-compatible model maximizes the capabilities of an 11ac access point while achieving an 89% reduction in size from the previous model (WDC-867U3).
Even when attached to a laptop, it protrudes only 22mm, making it unobtrusive for carrying around.
The 5GHz band (11ac/n/a) is resistant to radio interference, delivering speeds of up to 867Mbps, while the commonly used 2.4GHz band (11n/g/b) delivers speeds of up to 300Mbps. (Specified values)
It also features MU-MIMO functionality, allowing it to simultaneously receive and process data from multiple devices. *The access point must also support MU-MIMO.
