The TIMON brand has released a new, environmentally friendly, water-repellent cap made with Oni-Vege®, a next-generation sustainable material.
The baseball cap style makes it comfortable for anyone and comes in a variety of colors that coordinate with a variety of outfits.
Its water-repellent properties mean you can wear it with confidence even in sudden light rain or splashes. Its soft, cotton-like feel makes it stress-free to wear.
And to be as kind as possible to the natural environment that provides us with the wonderful activity of fishing,
it uses Oni-Vege® recycled nylon light shell taffeta, developed by Komatsu Matere, an environmentally friendly material with natural colors and natural ingredients.
This environmentally friendly material is made from materials that would normally be thrown away, using pre-consumer recycled nylon yarn, a recycled yarn created during the factory production process.
It is dyed using a blend of ingredients extracted from discarded onion skins and discarded plant materials, and is meticulously processed throughout the entire process, from the water-repellent finish to the dyeing process.
The natural, soft colors, unique to plant-based materials, cannot be achieved with chemical dyes alone. They are gentle on the eyes because they reflect less UV rays and limit the amount of UV light that penetrates the eyes. Another attractive feature is that they become more beautiful with age.
