[Sound Creation Based on Acoustic Engineering, Psychoacoustics, and Spatial Acoustics] These new "standard" earphones were born from research into the differences between sound sources produced using 2-channel stereo and binaural technology. It's widely known that listening to binaurally produced sound sources, such as games and VR, with conventional earphones or headphones can produce a distinctive sense of discomfort in the high frequencies. While acoustic researchers have identified the cause, no successful solutions have yet been found. This new approach addresses the issue, resulting in earphones that deliver the timbre, spatial image, and sense of direction intended by the creator when listening to binaurally produced sound sources, such as games and VR. The VR3000's extensive research has resulted in even more accurate reproduction.
Equipped with the all-new "f-Core DU" driver unit: The driver front housing is made of brass, which is less susceptible to magnetic fields than standard aluminum and has a high specific gravity. To enhance the diaphragm's time response, the voice coil uses an ultra-fine 30μ CCAW wire, and the moving parts are assembled with minimal adhesive, resulting in a thoroughly lightweight design. Furthermore, the diaphragm is carefully pressed in small batches—about one-third the size of the usual—to minimize pressure bias and ensure a uniform, distortion-free diaphragm.
[Customized Fit] The quality of the fit of earphones is determined by the feeling of pressure. While ergonomic and organic shapes, such as those that rely on the resilience of silicone to hold the earphones in place, may seem correct at first glance, they constantly exert pressure on the ears, putting strain on the ears without you even realizing it and causing fatigue. Compared to organic shapes that have a large, contact surface, we aimed for a fit without any pressure by limiting the contact area. The housing is held in place at three points, providing a stable fit.
[Ear hooks (with locking mechanism) that eliminate cable touch noise] Ear hooks are useful for reducing touch noise; when worn, they dramatically reduce the unpleasant rustling sound (cable touch noise) that occurs when the cable comes into contact with your body while walking. Our ear hooks are slimmer than typical ear hooks, and feel less foreign than cables containing wire or resin, making them so comfortable you'll forget you're even wearing them. These ear hooks are equipped with a locking mechanism (Type B) that allows them to be securely attached to the cable.
[Earpieces with different bush colors make it easier to distinguish between left and right] Two types of silicone material with different hardness are used for the sound conduit and the part that comes into contact with the ear. The sound conduit is made of silicone with a harder hardness than the part that comes into contact with the ear, and by adding grooves to it, it combines strength and flexibility. Soft silicone is used for the part that comes into contact with the ear, making it comfortable to wear and highly sound-insulating. One bush color is gray and the other is red, making it easy to distinguish between left and right, even in dimly lit places, by simply pulling the earpiece back slightly to check the bush color. What's more, the bush colors of adjacent sizes are different (gray bushes alternate between dark and light gray, while red bushes alternate between red and pink), making it easy to tell the size apart. Five sizes are included: SS/S/M/L/LL. Choose the size that suits you best.
Many earphones advertised for gaming, ASMR, and 3D sound exaggerate low and high frequencies to emphasize the initial surprise. In the event of a malfunction, you can easily upgrade to a different cable type. The 2-pin connector is a high-precision, in-house developed product, employing the φ0.78 standard, considered the most versatile. The soft, flexible sheathed material minimizes touch noise, allowing for flexible bending even when using ear hooks, ensuring a comfortable fit.
