During full casts (high RPMs), the second stage fully utilizes the second stage for optimal braking, followed by a return stroke. This maintains a lighter braking force in the latter half of the trajectory.
The resulting spool extension in the latter half of the cast delivers even greater casting distance!
The newly released RCSB SV BOOST 1000S G1 reduces the total spool weight by allowing you to reel in only the required amount of line. Improved spool response allows for solid casts with a compact swing without increasing casting input!

Caution: Regarding casting noise
With a BOOST spool, you may hear an audible "click" from the inductor rotor when casting (flying the lure).
The inductor rotor, which controls braking force, returns faster and stronger than previous models with BOOST, while also extending the operating stroke to maximize long-distance casting.
The inductor rotor's return noise may be louder than with conventional reels, but this is not abnormal.
The BOOST reel's two-stage operation generates up to two sounds, and the volume and frequency of the sounds vary depending on the casting input.
